Do you accept insurance?
Yes, H.E.A.L. Counseling Services accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield. H.E.A.L. offers an extra service by checking insurance benefits before therapy begins. Individuals are encouraged to call and check their own benefits as well. Anything the insurance company quotes could be inaccurate and may be subject to change at any time. If your insurance fails to cover your services, you would be responsible for the full session fees. Please note that some BCBS plans do not cover couples and marriage therapy.
What if you don’t accept my insurance?
Session payments are accepted via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner‘s Club, JCB, HSA and FSA. If you wish to seek reimbursement from an insurance provider using your out-of-network benefits, we can provide you with a detailed receipt, called a superbill, after you’ve paid for your session. The superbill goes to your insurance company, and they may offer you partial reimbursement for your therapy session. Check what out-of-network benefits your insurance plan covers. Can I see you in person?
H.E.A.L. Counseling Services is a telemental health practice and does not offer in-person sessions. All sessions are conducted virtually using secure video software. Telemental health is the practice of delivering clinical health care services via technology assisted media or other electronic means between a practitioner and a client who are located in two different locations. Benefits of telemental health include increased access to services, reduced travel time to and from appointments, and potentially feeling more comfortable in your own space.
What are your hours?

How do I get started?
To get started, schedule your free 20-minute consultation. During the consultation, we will briefly explore what’s bringing you to therapy. By the end, we will probably have a good sense if we will work well together, and I will let you know if I have the right skills to help. Don’t see a time that works? Contact us today to inquire about additional availability during our normal business hours of Tuesdays through Fridays between 8AM CST and 3PM CST.
